Scout Programs

Scouts photoThe ELC is an ideal place for Boy and Girl Scouts to work toward and complete many of their merit and handbook requirements. Our site provides great, close-to-home opportunities to explore and learn about the natural world.

We also host events that bring scouts from throughout the region to work on their badge and merit requirements. Upcoming events are below.

Girl Scout Day
October 13, 2018 at 12:30-3:30pm

This program will take place at our E. Drake site. Click here for directions.

Note: The Brownies Hiker Badge program has been canceled due to low enrollment.

Juniors, join us to earn your Geocacher badge at 12:30-3:30pm.

Cost is $7 per scout. Registration is closed for this program.

Environmental Science Merit Badge

April 14, 2018 at 9am-3pm

This program will take place at our E. Drake site.

Join us to work towards your Environmental Science Merit Badge. Material covered during this program will include ecological interactions and their importance, types of pollution, local endangered species and more.

Scouts who wish to complete all requirements will be given worksheets to do so. ELC staff will visit troop meetings within Fort Collins to sign off on these requirements.

Cost is $20 per scout for this program. Registration is required, click here to register.
