“Drake Site”

Most ELC programs meet at this site. Here you will find a picnic pavilion, access to our self-guided nature trail and the terminus of the City’s Poudre River Trail. Click here to view an interactive map.

Directions from Fort Collins
Head east on Drake Road. Approximately one mile after passing the intersection at Timberline, turn left on Environmental Drive. After crossing a one lane bridge, take a sharp left on the gravel road (you will see the ELC sign), crossing the railroad tracks. Parking lot is at the end of the gravel road. Programs meet near the parking lot, at the amphitheater.

 

Directions from I-25
Take the Harmony Road exit. Head west on Harmony for approximately two miles, to Ziegler Road. Turn right (north) on Ziegler. You will go through a light and a roundabout. Take a right on Environmental Drive. After crossing a one lane bridge, take a sharp left on the gravel road (you will see the ELC sign), crossing the railroad tracks. Parking lot is at the end of the gravel road. Programs meet near the parking lot, at the amphitheater.

 

The ELC Drake Site is open to the public free of charge every day from dawn to dusk. Bikes and dogs are not permitted on the property.
