As the temperatures drop and the ELC heads into our slower winter season, we’ve focused our attention on how to improve some things around the ELC in preparation for spring time. Each of our staff has chosen a winter project to help keep them busy and hopefully spark new ideas as well. Emily signed up to revamp our information bulletin board, putting in new pictures, graphics, and more! Our September staff star Saphyre volunteered to work on new curriculum design to ensure our programs are fun, engaging, and meeting core standards. We’ve also started planning our annual spring fundraiser, so keep your eye out for information about that! While it is slow season there are activities going on so be sure to check out the ELC calendar to find out about our family Holiday Nature Craft day taking place December 8th!
And there’s still lots of fun things to do around northern Colorado. The Gardens on Spring Creek recently reopened after their renovation and have lots of fun programs on their calendar. From December 13-29th they will also be featuring a Garden of Lights display!
