E-CAMP is our program exclusively for students in grades 6-8! We go on outdoor adventures, develop outdoor skills and spend time getting to know ourselves and friends a little bit better. Our goal is to give students positive experiences in the natural world, build a community and work on personal development.
We’ll spend some time at the ELC learning winter skills, such as tracking animals in the snow and building quinzhees, before heading out to Lory State Park to go snowshoeing. We will be outside the entire day, so please be prepared for cold, snowy weather. If you need to borrow any outdoor clothing, please contact us ahead of time. Snowshoes will be provided, but students are welcome to bring their own.
Drop off and pick up for this event will take place at our East Drake site, though we will be taking an off-site field trip. You can register individually for each spring E-CAMP program, but we highly encourage students to sign up for every program date, as this will encourage community-building and group-bonding.
This program is $15 per child. Registration is required, click here to register.
